At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2021, Estonia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 1.9% compared to 2020, reaching 40.6%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.7%.

Estonia ranks 2nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.0% (from 40.2% in 2016).
