At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2022, Estonia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 7.4% compared to 2021, reaching 24.6%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 17.4%.

Estonia ranks 3rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.6% (from 23.3% in 2017).
