At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2022, Latvia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 4.2% compared to 2021, reaching 25.2%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 17.4%.

Latvia ranks 2nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.4% (from 24.6% in 2017).
