At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2022, Estonia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 15.6% compared to 2021, reaching 20.8%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 15.6%.

Estonia ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 13.0% (from 18.4% in 2017).
