In 2022, Lithuania's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 4.1% compared to 2021, reaching 17.8%.
The figure is above the EU-27 average of 15.6%.
Lithuania ranks 8th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.
Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 16.8% (from 21.4% in 2017).
