At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2022, Latvia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 3.5% compared to 2021, reaching 19.4%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 15.6%.

Latvia ranks 5th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.6% (from 19.1% in 2017).
