In 2017, Estonia's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 15.0% compared to 2016, reaching 7,633.

Estonia ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 59.0% (from 18,628 in 2012).
