Fertility indicators

In 2000, Estonia's fertility indicators increased by 4.6% compared to 1999, reaching 1.36.

Estonia ranks 16th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 1.4% (from 1.38 in 1995).
