Fertility indicators

In 1999, Estonia's fertility indicators increased by 1.6% compared to 1998, reaching 1.30.

Estonia ranks 17th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 8.5% (from 1.42 in 1994).
