Population on 1 January by age group and sex

In 1990, Estonia's population on 1 january by age group and sex increased by 2.2% compared to 1989, reaching 39,596.

Estonia ranks 22nd out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 9.3% (from 36,235 in 1985).
