Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2010, Estonia's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 6.8% compared to 2009, reaching 24.6%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 14.4%.

Estonia ranks 6th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 40.6% (from 17.5% in 2005).
