At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2021, Finland's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 11.5% compared to 2020, reaching 10.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.8%.

Finland ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 6.9% (from 11.6% in 2016).
