Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 2012, Finland's population change increased by 2.1% compared to 2011, reaching 9.6.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 10.1.

Finland ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.2% (from 9.3 in 2007).
