Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 2012, Hungary's population change increased by 0.8% compared to 2011, reaching 13.0.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 10.1.

Hungary ranks 4th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 1.5% (from 13.2 in 2007).
