Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 2016, Finland's population change increased by 2.1% compared to 2015, reaching 9.8.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 10.2.

Finland ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.3% (from 9.4 in 2011).
