Employment rates by citizenship

In 2025, Finland's employment rates by citizenship decreased by 1.4% compared to 2024, reaching 71.4%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 66.6%.

Finland ranks 10th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.0% (from 70.7% in 2020).
