Employment rates by citizenship

In 2024, Finland's employment rates by citizenship decreased by 2.3% compared to 2023, reaching 72.4%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 66.2%.

Finland ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 0.8% (from 71.8% in 2019).
