Employment rates by citizenship

In 2021, Finland's employment rates by citizenship increased by 0.3% compared to 2020, reaching 73.6%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 73.3%.

Finland ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.4% (from 70.5% in 2016).
