Fertility indicators

In 1981, Finland's fertility indicators increased by 0.6% compared to 1980, reaching 1.64.

Finland ranks 15th out of 20 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 3.5% (from 1.70 in 1976).
