Fertility indicators

In 1982, Finland's fertility indicators increased by 4.3% compared to 1981, reaching 1.71.

Finland ranks 14th out of 21 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.8% (from 1.68 in 1977).
