Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2016, Finland's main indicators decreased by 0.7% compared to 2015, reaching 38.9%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 18.0%.

Finland ranks 2nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 19.7% (from 32.5% in 2011).
