Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2016, Sweden's main indicators increased by 0.7% compared to 2015, reaching 52.6%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 18.0%.

Sweden ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 10.4% (from 47.6% in 2011).
