Police-recorded offences by offence category

In 2022, Finland's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 8.2% compared to 2021, reaching 5,877.

Finland ranks 16th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 24.7% (from 7,807 in 2017).
