At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2020, France's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 6.6% compared to 2019, reaching 19.4%.

The figure is in line with the EU-27 average of 19.4%.

France ranks 10th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.7% (from 18.7% in 2015).
