At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2005, Italy's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 8.6% compared to 2004, reaching 22.7%.

Italy ranks 7th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 74.6% (from 13.0% in 2000).
