At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2025, France's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 3.0% compared to 2024, reaching 17.3%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 17.1%.

France ranks 10th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 16.9% (from 14.8% in 2020).
