At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2021, France's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 1.5% compared to 2020, reaching 13.4%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.1%.

France ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.7% (from 12.8% in 2016).
