At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2021, Germany's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 0.7% compared to 2020, reaching 15.4%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.1%.

Germany ranks 13th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.3% (from 15.2% in 2016).
