At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2025, France's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 2.7% compared to 2024, reaching 15.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 15.5%.

France ranks 13th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 12.5% (from 13.6% in 2020).
