At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2025, Spain's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 1.6% compared to 2024, reaching 18.6%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 15.5%.

Spain ranks 4th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 7.9% (from 20.2% in 2020).
