Employment rates by citizenship

In 2007, France's employment rates by citizenship increased by 1.7% compared to 2006, reaching 59.6%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 57.0%.

France ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.7% (from 56.4% in 2002).
