Population structure indicators at national level

In 2004, France's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.8% compared to 2003, reaching 38.4.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 39.3.

France ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.8% (from 37.0 in 1999).
