Population structure indicators at national level

In 2005, France's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.5% compared to 2004, reaching 38.6.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 39.6.

France ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.5% (from 37.3 in 2000).
