Population structure indicators at national level

In 2005, Spain's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.8% compared to 2004, reaching 38.6.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 39.6.

Spain ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.8% (from 37.2 in 2000).
