Population structure indicators at national level

In 2012, France's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.7% compared to 2011, reaching 40.3.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 41.9.

France ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.1% (from 39.1 in 2007).
