Population structure indicators at national level

In 2012, Germany's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.7% compared to 2011, reaching 45.0.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 41.9.

Germany ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.1% (from 42.8 in 2007).
