Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2017, France's main indicators increased by 3.8% compared to 2016, reaching 19.9%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 31.1%.

France ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 20.5% (from 16.5% in 2012).
