Employment rates by educational attainment level

In 2024, France's employment rates by educational attainment level increased by 0.8% compared to 2023, reaching 87.4%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 87.8%.

France ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.1% (from 85.6% in 2019).
