In 2024, Germany's employment rates by educational attainment level decreased by 0.5% compared to 2023, reaching 88.4%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 87.8%.

Germany ranks 15th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 1.0% (from 89.3% in 2019).
