Employment rates by educational attainment level

In 2025, France's employment rates by educational attainment level increased by 0.2% compared to 2024, reaching 87.6%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 88.1%.

France ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.1% (from 85.0% in 2020).
