Employment rates by educational attainment level

In 2024, Italy's employment rates by educational attainment level increased by 0.5% compared to 2023, reaching 84.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 87.8%.

Italy ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.9% (from 81.5% in 2019).
