Population structure indicators at national level

In 2009, Germany's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.2% compared to 2008, reaching 43.7.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 41.0.

Germany ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.6% (from 41.4 in 2004).
