Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2010, Germany's main indicators increased by 9.1% compared to 2009, reaching 6.4%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 5.5%.

Germany ranks 5th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 62.2% (from 4.0% in 2005).
