Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2020, Germany's main national accounts tax aggregates increased by 4.1% compared to 2019, reaching 17.6%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 14.5%.

Germany ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 8.6% (from 16.2% in 2015).
