Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2018, Germany's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 1.7% compared to 2017, reaching 29.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 30.7%.

Germany ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.7% (from 28.6% in 2013).
