Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2019, Germany's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 2.7% compared to 2018, reaching 29.9%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 31.7%.

Germany ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 10.3% (from 27.1% in 2014).
