Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2020, Germany's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 4.3% compared to 2019, reaching 31.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 32.8%.

Germany ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 13.0% (from 27.6% in 2015).
