At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2020, Greece's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 1.1% compared to 2019, reaching 17.7%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.7%.

Greece ranks 9th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 17.3% (from 21.4% in 2015).
