In 2005, Greece's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 0.5% compared to 2004, reaching 20.9%.

Greece ranks 3rd out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.5% (from 20.0% in 2000).
