In 2017, Greece's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 62.1% compared to 2016, reaching 92,666.

Greece ranks 13th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 48.4% (from 62,447 in 2012).
